Patented Fengyu designed TC series online oil purifying device, with its special feature of transformer on-load tap-changer, has the capacity to eliminate the following industrial problems. Switches on large transformers widely installed on-loading switches with frequent on-load switching can produce arcs which will lead to oil cracking, free carbon and water, and deteriorate oil quality, lower oil dielectric strength, limit switching frequency, and even endanger the safety of transformer operation.

The TC series on-load tap-changer online oil purifying device is used to bypass cycle filtering of on-load switch. Under the condition of the transformers normal operation, it can choose timing filtration or oil filtration after switching the regulator. The device can remove free carbon, water and oxide material when it is cycle filtering. This feature will ensure the quality of switching oil, keep the dielectric strength, increase switch working life, extend maintenance cycle, reduce shutdown frequency , guarantee voltage quality and improve the security and reliability of on-load tap-changer.

The apparatus of TC on-load tap-changer online oil purifying device is installed in a stainless steel cabinet controlled by the programmable timer without supervision required. It is fixed on the side of on-load tap-changer and has optional accessories for various flow rate and different functions.

NOTES FOR SELECTION
There are two operation modes. One is to start oil purifying device upon switch each action, oil filtration running time according to requirement, usually 30 minutes (0-99hours). The other is to start filter regularly every day, running time is set as 2 hours.

To ensure the equipment run normally in humid area, the temperature of filter box and filter body is usually lower than dew point. Under this circumstance, a heater is required, which will prevent the machine box condensing resulting in water entry.

The scavenge port is for main body ventilation.

Wall-mounted type and adjacent side-mounted type are for options.
